Position Summary The role of the Administrative Coordinator/Purchaser will have split responsibilities; those to the WM plant and those to the Supply Chain Department.
As it pertains to the WM plant, this individual will oversee the office environment, provide administrative support, ordering of supplies, and manage internal/external meetings.
As for the support in the Supply Chain team this person will manage inventory control support by performing cycle counts and reporting.
This position will also handle the purchasing needs for the facility for production, lab, and maintenance.
Principle Duties and
Responsibilities:
You shall carry out all your responsibilities by applying and maintaining a culture of ethics and integrity in accordance with the values and standards of our Code of Conduct and Compliance Management System Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental requirements that are defined within set work instructions Ensure office efficiency by maintaining common areas, organizing procedures, handling correspondence, managing file systems, and overseeing supplies and equipment Oversee day-to-day office activities as main point of contact in reception area, and keep management informed regularly via performance reports Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events; maintaining file systems; mailing and shipping packages; and updating contacts database and employee lists Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify needs and acquire supplies, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate food deliveries when requested Manage all aspects of space/infrastructure planning (ex:
moves, additions, changes to workstations) and provide answers, resources, and solutions when requested Versatility on doing travel arrangements, selecting hotels, booking air tickets nationally and internationally Ability to file expense reports Perform inventory cycle counts as needed Enter/pull information from Excel to forecast needed requirements for the Supply Chain department Handle the purchasing function for the facility which include creating purchase orders Participate in plant audit activity which may occur 1-2 times per year or as needed Provide Plant/Supply Chain Manager with needed inventory related reports as requested All other duties as assigned Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities):
College work or Associates Degree preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous experience as an office coordinator is required Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel (intermediate skill level), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience with SAP preferred (Inventory or Materials Mgmt.
modules) or similar ERP module Utilization of Concur as travelling booking system and expense report is preferable Key Competencies:
