Assistant Registrar
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; two years of experience in higher education admissions, records, student services, or related field.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook and Excel.
Knowledge of student information systems (SIS) and communication tracks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse constituents, both on- and off-campus.
Data entry is essential and must have the ability to multi-task.
Must be accurate, dependable, and conscientious in entering and managing student records.
Preference will be given to applicants with a master's degree, with previous experience in similar SIS software (Banner or another Ellucian product), as used on our campus, and with a background in Computer Information Systems.
Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Registrar.
Responsible for accurately processing all admissions applications, including the required documents and any resultant student communications.
Process all transcript requests, including electronic and any related National Student Clearinghouse file work.
Enter electronic student data with accuracy and timeliness; maintain permanent files in accordance with stated policies and procedures.
Assisting with scanning and indexing.
Validate student data for state and federal reports.
Assist in reviewing and verifying graduation requirements.
Assist with international student admissions.
Responsible for staffing the Enrollment Services front desk and answering the Admissions and Records office telephone.
Regular and prompt attendance is essential.
Some evening hours may be required.
Salary and
Benefits:
$32,500, depending upon experience and qualifications.
