About the role:
Coordinates human resources activities including but not limited to employment and employee relations.
What you'll do:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational goals and objectives, aligning HR strategies to support the achievement of these goals.
Act as a strategic partner, providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters to drive business success.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and fostering effective communication.
Support the development and implementation of talent management programs, including performance management, career development, and succession planning.
Assess training needs within the organization and collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Facilitate leadership development programs to build a strong and capable leadership pipeline.
Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices are in compliance.
Provide guidance on legal and regulatory issues, minimizing risks and ensuring a fair and consistent application of policies.
Support organizational change initiatives by facilitating communication, managing resistance, and ensuring successful implementation of changes.
Lead the administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
Recruits and interviews candidates; provides management with hiring recommendations.
Coordinates hiring process, including but not limited to conducting background and reference checks, negotiating salary offers, and issuing job confirmation letters and other internal communication.
Coordinates and/or conducts employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs.
Coordinates programs to attract qualified candidates through the design and placement of position announcements, advertising, and/or participation in job fairs.
Conducts exit interviews with employees; communicates findings to management.
Coordinates distribution/communication of projects including but not limited to Employee Policy handbook, 401(k) open enrollment, and employee recognition.
Identifies potential employee-relations issues and makes recommendations to management.
Conducts investigations into claims of harassment or other company-guideline violations.
Coordinates administration of workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
Assists in administration of company compensation and benefits programs.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Develop and implement a job matrix including requirements for career progression, minimal requirements and succession planning.
Develop job descriptions.
Develop and implement employee engagement plans.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
Proven experience as an HRBP or in a similar HR role.
In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated experience in driving HR initiatives that support business objectives.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
