The preferred candidate will be knowledgeable on the subject of cannabis and have previous customer service experience.
The team member in this role will be responsible for a variety of retail related tasks as well as special projects assigned by the General Manager.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cash handling, customer service, and cleaning and maintenance of facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
Provides pricing and other product information to customers Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, and regulatory requirements Promotes sales by demonstrating products, providing information and educating customers Greets customers and provides excellent customer service at all times Cash handling, including accuracy when responsible for transactions and properly counting back change Clean and maintain Facility to company standards and regulatory requirements Dedicated to ongoing education around cannabis use and best practices in order to provide best in class patient support for customers Assist manager and co-workers with tasks and special projects Other duties not listed here may be required Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Integrity is required at all times, in all interactions with co-workers and customers alike Must be a team player who acts professionally at all times Minimum of 1 year experience as a retail cashier Must be 21
Open availability, including weekends, evenings and holidays, including extended shifts Will be required to pass a driving and level two background check prior to starting work Must be dependable, reliable, show up for scheduled shifts or communicate in advance if shift must be missed Attention to detail is necessary to successfully perform in this role Compliance and dedication to site safety and security Always provide excellent customer service General math skills for accurately managing monetary transactions Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Basic cannabis knowledge and passion for ongoing education Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
