Sales Appointment Setter

Job Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) calls prospective customers to introduce the company and set appointments with an Inside Sales Representative (ISR). The BDR researches sales prospects online, enters and verifies customer data, and maintains a quota set by the Manager.

Qualifications
- Excellent conversational and listening skills; clear and precise speaker with professional phone presence, able to conduct calls without a script
- Confidence and excellent technology skills
- Research skillsâ  must be an excellent â  googlerâ Â
- An upbeat and positive attitude
- Entry-level position-- will train a passionate candidate-- however previous experience in appointment setting, sales, promotions, telemarketing or cold-calling, or marketing is given preference
- High school degree required; Bachelors degree a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
